Carrie and Nick were sealed in the Mesa Arizona Temple and I had the pleasure of photographing the special day! Gotta love a fun spunky redhead!!!

Orinda and Lane are nothing short of awesome-I have nothing but nice things to say about the two of them and their inside jokes and amazing scrunched up nose laughs and her awesome LIME GREEN Converse (!) They were married at the Mesa Arizona Temple, which is my favorite place to shoot. Here are a few from their day:

I said come at me however you want…they chose a race…Lane won by a foot…or maybe a leg.

They are both SUPER tall…this was illustrative of how short I felt

I would guess Rindy did hurdles at some point in her life???

We actually went back to the Temple because the Temple Christmas lights were up and we wanted to catch a few extra shots to show the festive season:

And of course the GORGEOUS sunset…but I think they were too preoccupied looking at each other to see it

Ryan and Becky were married yesterday at the Mesa Arizona Temple on the hottest day ever in the history of Arizona (according to us). Here are a few shots from their day, and entertainment for them as they sit and wait at the airport

Thankfully, Ryan was not injured after this jump, which would have probably ruined his honeymoon.

Jim and I go waaay back. Like, I remember him from when I first started shooting weddings nearly 10 years ago. He may not remember me from that far back, but I remember him for sure. It’s actually funny that I do remember him because I really can’t remember any other DJ I have ever worked with. Do you want to know WHY I remember him? Because he is good. He is great. He is the best. He is the DJ that I want to see at ALL of my weddings, which is why I am compelled to dedicate a post solely to recommending that YOU call HIM and your reception will be a hit. To Julie and her Mother on Mother’s Day

I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Julie and Kent at the beautiful Boulders Resort in Scottsdale. The day was a whirlwind of emotion for these two, as Julie’s precious mother went into the hospital yesterday morning, and was unable to attend the wedding. Julie has to be one of the kindest people I’ve ever met, as she constantly worried about others throughout the day, despite her own inner hardships from the day. Kent, I realized, is Julie’s rock. There for her no matter what, and the perfect match for her, proven so strongly yesterday.

Today when I picked up my cell phone, I saw a text message from Julie thanking me and wishing me a Happy Mother’s Day. With all that was going on in her life at the moment, she still took the time to think of me. I have been thinking of their family since I heard the news, and I decided that I had a gift that I could give to them today. I wanted to at least give Julie’s mom a glimpse of her beautiful daughter and her beautiful wedding so that she could feel a part of what occurred, and I couldn’t think of a more appropriate time than today, Mother’s Day. I wish the family, and Julie’s mom especially, the best with everything going on in their lives at the moment.

So here is a glimpse of what went on-first, a few of the details:

The Boulders was gracious enough to cart us around from location to location! Rarely is there a venue who will do so much for you!

One of the highlights of the wedding was Julie dancing with one of her brothers to Wooly Bully-I was laughing SO hard-it was fantastic!

I know this is a but a small taste of the events and details-in fact! I have to send a VERY special thank you for the day to Jason and Anna Ball for all of their help. I could not have done it without you guys, and I can’t wait to see what awesome images you were able to get!

Being a mother is the most wonderful thing I have experienced, and I want to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers out there!
