Ummm…Courtney and Nick are AWESOME. Enough said. Courtney was a bridesmaid in a wedding that I shot about a year ago, so we totally go waaaaay back She and Nick are getting married in October and I am so excited that I get to work with them and even more excited that they found each other because seriously…it was apparent that they are smitten:

It’s true Simi Valley genes + Tempe genes = awesome. It’s a fact. You see, my kids and Jen’s kids have that in common – they both come from Simi Valley and Tempe genes mixed and I can attest to the fact that there is no greater combination of genetics out there. See for yourself…oh, and there may or may not be an arranged marriage already in the works between Jasper and my Charlotte.

This is my beautiful best friend of approximately 11 year, Jennifer, and we are ecstatic as they are about to have their third little girl (I see a trend, do you?) in just a few more weeks! I was so excited to meet up with them for this quick little maternity session, and to try out an awesome location that I’ve been dying to try!

Our kids are all BFFs, so I’m glad there will be another one joining the ranks of screaming and shrieking!

Orinda & Lane | Mesa Temple Wedding Photography

Orinda and Lane are nothing short of awesome-I have nothing but nice things to say about the two of them and their inside jokes and amazing scrunched up nose laughs and her awesome LIME GREEN Converse (!) They were married at the Mesa Arizona Temple, which is my favorite place to shoot. Here are a few from their day:

They are both SUPER tall…this was illustrative of how short I felt

I would guess Rindy did hurdles at some point in her life???

We actually went back to the Temple because the Temple Christmas lights were up and we wanted to catch a few extra shots to show the festive season:

And of course the GORGEOUS sunset…but I think they were too preoccupied looking at each other to see it

I had the pleasure of finally meeting Laura Siivola, a fellow photographer, last week for her family photos! Laura, like me, is very BAD at scheduling her own family photos. She is just as nice, fun, and funny as I had guessed she would be, and her family is just the same. We had a great time at the Phoenix Zoo! Here are a few faves:
