Happy Happy (belated) Birthday (to me)!
I had a VERY fantastic birthday yesterday with my family-breakfast in bed, a pedicure, delicious food made by my hubby, JENGA…who could ask for anything more?
Abbie had very specific instructions for the cake…
And now for 10 things you may (or may not) know about me:
1. I know every single line to Raising Arizona, Dumb and Dumber, and Zoolander.
2. I am pretty much a klutz-especially when wheels or any type of skate is attached to my feet.
3. I sing (loudly) in the car when I’m driving…especially if Queen comes on the radio, but more often than not, I am rocking out to the Backyardigans.
4. Speaking of which, I pretty much only listen to the classic rock “oldies” station (when I get to choose)-did you know they consider REM “oldies” these days? Crazy.
5. I hope the jeggings trend lasts forever-the adult romper trend, however, can leave now.
6. My kids can swim better than I can.
7. I graduated in the top 2% of my high school class, which allowed me to attend ASU on a full academic scholarship…which I used to obtain an art degree-sorry, but being a mathematician just wasn’t for me!
8. I had pink wallpaper in my room forever when I was young and also lived in a pink house, which made me despise pink…until I had 3 girls…now I love it.
9. When I was young, I wanted to be a superhero (or an X-man). Okay, let’s face it, I still do.
10. My husband and my kids mean EVERYTHING to me (you probably knew that one already!) They are the absolute best things I could ever ask for in my life!
