One more of sweet baby sister…

And “all boy” older brother…

(I found the slight motion blur to be very true to life

Summertime and the Living’s Easy
We spent today outside, soaking in the healing rays of the sun and enjoying the late afternoon weather before it cools off a bit. My girls love the water!

Abbie couldn’t quite get the “slide” part of “slip n slide”

I Love Babies.

How can you not?
Talkin’ Turkey
How do I get kids (and apparently dogs as well) to look at the camera? I’m fluent in Turkey. No, not Turkish, Turkey. Like the bird you eat at Thanksgiving. It’s quite effective. Don’t judge.

It sometimes works on adults who won’t look at the camera as well.
The Jury is In
I thought I would reference what I get to do tomorrow (okay, technically today) in connection with my insanely amazing engagement session from today (okay, technically yesterday). So before I head off to fulfill my civic duty of the jurors, I wanted to post up a few shots of Shanell and Forrest, who are insanely fun and willing to try anything. I loved these guys! Looking forward to shooting you some more, but for now, here’s a small teaser at nearly 1:00 am

Many many many more insanely cool shots to post, but these just jumped out at me tonight (okay, technically this morning)
Come Together
I love big families. When I was contacted (during my bout with pneumonia) about shooting this great family, I was definitely excited, and I asked them a billion questions about their family. The biggest thing that came across from them was that they were all there for that moment. Family members had come from around the world, and it was important to capture that.
Meet some of the cute families that make up this bigger family:

And one of the whole family:

This is what happens when someone refuses to smile for my photos. We get him.

So, in the beginning, I mentioned the spread all over the world of this family. In come the balloons. I love these photo, and to me, they are kind of symbolic of the time spent together and apart. I hope they love them as much as I do.

Thank you, Sabal family, and I am excited to show you the rest!
Under the Weather
To those of you who have left me voicemails yesterday and today, I am not ignoring you! I currently have no voice (which doesn’t work so well when returning voicemails). I plan to contact you back as soon as my voice returns. In the meantime, I can most certainly correspond with you via email (rachael@mycameralovesyou.com), and I apologize for the inconvenience!
Jumped Right Off the Page
Literally!

This is a sneak peek* from today’s session, which featured the cutest little girl ever, who was a bundle of energy! (*Sneak peek implies just a few…ummm…I need to come up with a better phrase!)

“Want me to do the splits?” “Sure!”

I have never been able to do the splits in my life! I was so impressed!

Just a few of the many many many cute images this fun family got!
Tiffany and Brent Are About to Form an Alliance…
…of awesomeness! Okay…that was pretty silly, but it is 12:41 am, after all.

And finally, for your viewing pleasure, a short animation. “Brent, do you think you can slide down the railing to Tiffany?” This is awesome because he stays exactly the same the whole way down.
