you did it correctly-pat yourself on the back.

sorry, try again.

The Yees and Their Wiis

This is a new type of session I’ve been booking.  It’s super fun, and includes a 20×30 canvas print of your “collage.”  The Yees like to play the Wii as a family, so we based their collage around that activity.  They were so fun to shoot, and their collage turned out pretty cool!

Let me know how you like it-I’ll be posting more this week!

July 3, 2008 - 11:33 am Michelle Morales - Aww, my family and I love Wi!!

July 2, 2008 - 9:41 am Rachael Earl - Thanks for the comments, Luis-I take 250-350 shots of the scene, and then put them together (keeping around 100 or so). I try hard not to crop any of them, as it is meant to be printed as a 20x30, so that each individual photo comes out as a 4x6. It is a twist on the work of David Hockney.

July 2, 2008 - 7:42 am Luis Murillo - This is the first time I've seen something like this and it does look like a fun idea...I'm assuming that you just take a lot of separate photos and them put them all together...yeah I know not very hard to guess...but is there any cropping? any tips on this? :)

June 17, 2008 - 9:03 pm summer lofgran - Rachael... I love finding the baby in the jumper unexpectedly. This is such a great concept, to catch the family in "real life" in action. It looks like fun to make! P.S. regarding your 101 things to do, I can help with a few. The yoga of course, one of these days I will teach you...promise. The Butterflies! We have a vine by the pool with hundreds of caterpillers. Sadie has been collecting and growing butterflies for a few weeks now, and it is incredible to watch! We have already released one Monarch, and are waiting on two more to come out of their cacoon. Come and help yourself, the girls would have fun picking caterpillers together. As far as the jeans, every body is different but my favorite store for jeans is the buckle, there are so many brands and styles to choose from, so lets go shopping and have the daddy's babysit. The fabric and the sewing and the business launching....I share your dream on that one. Lets do it before our kids are to cool to wear lame homemade clothes "by Mom" Summer
